We went back to the dr today for another check up. Everything is good! Samuel is a busy boy for sure. The sonographer didn't measure him again because she said they can get a more accurate reading if they do it every other week. She said at this stage they gain about 8oz. a week, so that would put him over 5 lbs. Samuel is no longer head down which kinda sucks, but I was told we still have time for him to turn again. My dr is still saying she won't let me go past 38 weeks, so best case scenario is we will have a baby sometime the week of September 21st-25th. That gives us about 5 weeks. Eli's birthday is the 24th, so he and his little man might share the same birthday. However, she could decide to go ahead and take him before then...it all depends on me.
She did some more blood work to check my liver function and she also did a non-stress test on Samuel. The stress test is something that will be done weekly from here on out as well. We will go back next Thursday as long as everything comes back good with the bloodwork.
We give all the glory to God for today's news. I'm so excited to hold my little man and with each passing week that we have these sonograms...it makes me more and more anxious for his arrival. Today we were watching him and he let out a big yawn! It was sooo cute!
