This past weekend was True Love Waits at our church for the youth. Eli was asked by Adron our youth minister if he would be willing to teach the high school boys. This would mean that he would have to teach 4 lessons. On Friday as I was taking Mackenzie to school this was our conversation:
Me: "Daddy won't be around much this weekend"
Kenz: "I know, why does he have to teach?"
Me: "Because Adron asked him and he said of course"
Kenz: "That's good"
Me: "Yes...it is good, but why did you say that?"
Kenz: "Because Daddy reads really well and he preaches so good he puts you to sleep"
I nearly ran off the road!
